During pregnancy we will meet together each trimester to discuss ways to have a healthy pregnancy, explore your options for labor and birth, talk about your preferences and goals, go over comfort measures and birth positions, and what to expect. A comprehensive 14-hour Lamaze birth class for you and your partner will empower you with all the information and tools to make your birth experience positive, no matter how you choose to welcome your baby–whether you are planning an unmedicated birth or one with an epidural. Online so you can go at your own pace.

As your doula, I will help create a calm and nurturing environment where you can feel empowered, supported, and focus on bringing your baby into the world.

I’ll be by your side, offering suggestions for positions and comfort measures techniques that can help your labor unfold with greater ease and comfort. You will have someone to explain what is happening during each stage of labor, remind you of your options, help to advocate for your wishes, and help with informed decision making during any unexpected twists and turns that labor may bring

Postpartum support that gets you off to the best start.

Becoming a parent is a beautiful, life-changing experience, but it can also bring moments of uncertainty. You might find yourself wondering, “Is this normal?”

Once you’re home we will have a postpartum follow up meeting to provide you with breastfeeding support, check on your physical healing and recovery, and to offer advice on all things newborn and new-mother. After birth I’ll continue to be just a call or text away for the first month.
